A week aimed at raising awareness over the responsible use of paper.
“Trust the tree” was the theme of FSC® Week 2023, the global awareness-raising campaign promoted by the Forest Stewardship Council® to allow consumers and companies in the paper industry to be better informed on sustainability.
This year’s theme, “Trust the tree”, highlighted the role of forests in the fight against climate change and in the preservation of biodiversity.
In 2022, more than 40 countries took part in this important celebration, and the hashtag #FSCForestWeek reached 42 million people.
The promotion of sustainable forestation is at the centre of FSC®’s efforts, and thus saw the involvement of all its global partners in this important awareness-raising campaign.
Musumeci and Genoud, who use FSC®-certified paper, enthusiastically took part in the campaign, publishing dedicated content on their social network channels between 23 and 29 September 2023.

Involving the sector in this kind of initiative can contribute to favouring cultural change towards more sustainable practices in the use of paper, thus reducing its overall environmental impact.
